They were established in 1999 and produce high quality ceramics with an emphasis on originality. While their product range includes platters and bowls, their speciality is handmade wash basins and tile murals which are molded, turned, decorated and glazed.
Their handpainted tile murals are all original works of art created onto hand made tiles. Perfect for interiors and exteriors, each panel is exclusive, and size and design can be made according to the cutomer’s requirements.

Sammy Liebermann established Liebermann Pottery in Johannesburg in 1952 where artists work on their beautiful tiles which add unique creativity to any space.
There is a limited supply of their picture tiles, which are gradually disappearing from their collection, and won’t be made again.
Tiles for mosaic:
Liebermann Pottery manufactures specialized, 5mm thick tiles for mosaic work, where all primary colours are available. They also sell broken pieces of porcelain and beads which may be inlaid into a mosaic work. Their mosaic tiles are 150mm square and can be made to order if you have a large project to work on.
